Born and raised in a dual-religion and mixed-heritage household in Klang, Ranessa experienced a childhood shaped by the rich tapestry of Malaysian culture. Now calling Bangsar home, she finds solace in a bustling neighbourhood that blends urban living with a sense of community and warmth.
For over 14 years, she has been immersed in the world of performing arts. Beyond the stage, her journey has led her through dynamic fields like PR, journalism, marketing, and facilitation.
Motivated by a desire to make a difference, she ventured into the non-profit sector—raising funds, building partnerships, and advocating for women and children survivors of violence. “It is a role that allows me to merge all my skills with a commitment to social change, creating meaningful impact in our communities.“
Alongside her professional pursuits, she founded the Women’s Circle of Malaysia—a space where women can come together to support and uplift each other, fostering growth and transformation. Inspired by challenges faced in previous work environments, she currently pursuing legal studies to equip herself with the knowledge to navigate complex situations with confidence and integrity.
